Sign a form without printing it
Printing a form just to sign and re-scan it is a loop nobody needs. This page opens our Sign PDF tool: draw your signature with a mouse or finger, or type your name in a script style, place it on the signature line at the right size, and download the signed PDF. If the form also needs filling in, do that first with Fill PDF Forms, sign second, and flatten last so everything is locked in for the upload.
How to do it
- If the form needs answers too, fill it first with Fill PDF Forms.
- Add the form here and draw or type your signature.
- Place it on the signature line, set the size, and download.
- For portal uploads, run the signed copy through Flatten PDF to lock it.
Common questions
Is a drawn signature acceptable?
For most everyday and application uses, yes - it is your genuine signature placed on the document. Formal certified digital signatures with identity verification are a different service, which this tool does not claim to be.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. The signature pad works with touch - draw with your finger.
Are my signed documents uploaded?
No. Signing happens fully in your browser.
