      N-Up - put 2 or 4 pages on each sheet
      

      Printing slides or documents one page per sheet wastes paper. N-Up places 2 or 4 pages onto each sheet: 2-up sheets are landscape with two pages side by side, 4-up sheets are portrait with a 2 by 2 grid, on A4 or Letter. The pages are embedded into the sheet, not turned into pictures, so the text in the result stays selectable - the sheets are a print layout, so the individual pages can no longer be handled one by one in the result.
      

      How to do it

      Common questions
      

      When is 2-up better than 4-up?
      2-up keeps pages larger and easier to read - good for slides with small text. 4-up saves the most paper and suits handouts you mainly skim.
      Does text stay selectable?
      Yes. Pages are embedded into each sheet, not rasterized.
      Are my files uploaded?
