      Merge documents for a visa application, in checklist order
      

      Many visa checklist items allow only one uploaded file, even though the evidence is several documents - bank statements for multiple months, a passport bio page plus previous visas, an invitation letter plus ID. Merging them into one PDF in checklist order makes the officer's job easy and your application complete.
      Work in the order your checklist lists the documents. If one file is a scan that came out sideways, fix it with Rotate PDF first, and remove blank scanner pages with Delete and Organize Pages before you merge, so the final file is clean from page one.
      

      How to do it
      

      1. List the documents for the checklist item, in the order the checklist names them.
      2. Fix any sideways or blank pages first.
      3. Open Merge PDF, add the files in order, and download the combined PDF.
      4. If the merged file is over the portal cap, run it through Compress PDF with the exact target size.
      

      Common questions
      

      Should each document be its own upload instead?
      Follow your checklist: where it allows several files, separate uploads are fine. Where only one file is accepted for an item, merge everything for that item into one PDF.
      Does merging reduce quality?
      No. Our Merge PDF joins losslessly - pages are copied exactly, which matters for statements and certificates that must stay readable.
      Are my documents uploaded to a server?
