Built differently: the file never leaves your hands

On most PDF websites, your document is uploaded to a company server, processed there, and kept for a while before deletion. Here, the tools run as code inside your own browser tab. You can even turn off your internet after this page loads and every tool still works. Because the work happens on your device, very large files may be slow or run out of memory on a phone - a computer handles those best.

Nothing is uploaded

Your PDF is read and rewritten by your own device. No server ever sees it, stores it, or scans it.

Fast, with no queue

No upload wait, no processing line and no daily cap. There are no artificial limits - processing runs on your device, so very big files work best on a computer and finish as fast as your device can work.

No accounts, ever

There is nothing to join and no email to hand over. Open a tool, drop your file, download the result.

Compress a PDF to 200 KB

Upload portals for visas, study permits, jobs and university applications often refuse any PDF over 200 KB. This page opens our Compress PDF tool with one job in mind: type 200 KB as the target and the tool works down to it, trying a lossless save first and then reducing page clarity step by step only as far as needed, keeping the clearest version that fits. You see the original size, the final size, and a plain message if the target honestly cannot be reached.

      How to do it

      1. Add your PDF file.
      2. Type 200 in the target box and choose KB (or tap the 200 KB preset).
      3. Click Compress PDF and download the file under 200 KB.

      Common questions

Why do portals ask for 200 KB?

Many government and university portals set a 200 KB cap per document to keep uploads fast and storage small. It is a common cap on immigration and application forms.

My PDF is still over 200 KB. What now?

Split the document and upload it in parts if the portal allows several files, or scan at a lower setting. The tool always reports the smallest size it could reach.

Is 200 KB the same as 200kb shown on the portal?

Yes, treat the number the portal shows as your target and type it exactly, choosing KB as the unit.
